THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED.
Join Urban Green's Emerging Professionals for a screening of The Experimental City. This 2017 documentary follows the Minnesota Experimental City project which, proposed in the 1960s, envisioned a futuristic solution to urban problems, modeled by a full-size city to be created from scratch in the isolated woods of northern Minnesota. Following the screening, director Chad Freidrichs will join us for a Q&A.
“The experimental city was different because the idea was, we’re going to use science and technology and rationality to find the answer," Freidrichs recently told Smithsonian Magazine of the project.
