Join Urban Green’s Emerging Professionals for a speed mentoring event. Experienced professionals in architecture, engineering, consulting and sustainability will meet with attendees in small groups for informal discussions. Participants are encouraged to share experiences and discuss career goals.

Join us for a joint volunteer event between Urban Green’s Emerging Professionals and the American Society of Landscape Architects. Members from both groups are invited to get their hands dirty at The Battery Urban Farm.
Volunteers will help with a gardening project in Forest Farm (more details to come). This is a great opportunity to mingle with members of both organizations and spend time outdoors! Attendance is free for members, but capacity is limited so sign up soon..
Attire: Please wear closed-toed shoes and weather appropriate clothing that can get dirty. Bring a water bottle if possible.
Directions: Volunteers should meet the horticulture staff at the picnic tables inside the playground at 10:00am.

Meet up with young professionals in sustainability at the Earth Day Initiative at Union Square Park on the corner of 17th and Broadway at 6:00pm, then join us for drinks and networking around the corner at the Headless Horseman at 6:30pm.
A circular economy is an alternative to the current linear "take, make, waste" economy. It aims to redefine growth and focus on society-wide benefits.
Come join us for our newest Spark Series event to learn about circular economy careers in the built environment. Our speakers will be giving 5-minute presentations on everything from the concepts behind circular economy to how the AEC industry is incorporating the circular economy. This program will spark discussion about how emerging professionals can get involved with circular economy projects and networks.
This is a great chance to meet sustainability professionals and catch up with colleagues.
