On September 22, join Gayathri Unnikrishana, author of the forthcoming book, People Positive, for a Climate Week salon-style discussion focused on the social and human impacts of climate work. People Positive moves beyond broad Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) approach and offers a practical framework for identifying, measuring, and acting on the social value of buildings, products, places, partners, and communities.
Through the Five Sites of Impact and the four-step process of Acknowledge, Assess, Adopt, and Amplify, People Positive helps leaders bring human dignity into the everyday systems where decisions are made, from project briefs and RFPs to budgets, specifications, and building operations.
During this event, attendees will be encouraged to examine the impacts of their own work, how their decisions move through the system from design to construction to operations to community impact and explore where human value is currently invisible in built-environment decisions.
