GPRO Construction Management provides practitioners with sustainability best practices and actionable strategies for every phase of construction, as well as how to avoid common mistakes. Taught by highly knowledgeable industry professionals, participants will leave the course with practical steps to direct and manage  successful, sustainable, and cost-effective projects.

This 8-hour training is ideal for a range of construction professionals, including: construction managers, general contractors, experienced tradespersons, trade forepersons, owner’s representatives, project managers, site superintendents, estimators, students and others interested in entering the building and construction industry.

This training will be held virtually over Zoom.

What students learn

Registration includes access to six on-demand electives and an online exam. Students who take 3 electives and pass the exam with an 80% or higher become a GPRO Certificate Holder.

We understand that your plans may change and are happy to refund your registration fee within 90 days of purchase. Requests for session changes and/or refunds must be received at least a week in advance of the course date. Memberships and donations are nonrefundable.​

Instructor

Frank Mruk
Architect & Strategist

Frank Mruk is an architect and strategist. He is a founder and executive director of the Center for NY Strategic Innovation, the Boston Center for Smart Building Technology and a Sr. Director of Building Innovations at NRMCA. He was educated at Pratt Institute, Pace University and at the University of Oxford. He has taught Architecture at the School of Visual Arts, the Rhode Island School of Design, Roger Williams University, the Parsons School of Design, New York University, and at the New York Institute of Technology where he served as associate dean for the School of Architecture and Design. He spent 10 years working on Wall Street for American International Group and Morgan Stanley, and in professional practice for the Aga Kahn AKAA winning Architect Emre Arolat. He has served as President for CSI-NY, ASP-NY and AIA-RI. Frank was elevated to Fellowship in both the Strategic Planning Society and the American Institute of Architects.
