MAKING THE BLUEPRINT A REALITY

The 80x50 Buildings Partnership's Blueprint for Efficiency proposed a groundbreaking plan to reduce energy use in NYC’s largest buildings.

Now, as covered by the Huffington Post, WNYC and Crain’s New York, City Councilman Costa Constantinides—who leads the City Council Committee on Environmental Protection—is drafting legislation based on the Blueprint’s 21-point plan.

On September 5, contributors to the Blueprint will discuss what it will take to implement the plan, from creating a new metric to providing assistance to building owners.
