Urban Green’s annual conference, Modern All Over Again, is just two weeks away! Industry experts will discuss how to best revitalize and retrofit midcentury commercial buildings, public housing, and energy infrastructure in New York City.
In preparation for a lively afternoon of panels and conversation we thought you might like to see the de Blasio administration’s report NextGen NYCHA, which outlines the New York City Housing Authority’s 10-year plan to rebuild, expand and preserve public housing stock—60% of which were built over 50 years ago. NYCHA houses 400,000 New Yorkers in over 2,550 buildings, and will spend $2.5 billion dollars in capital work over the next five years (as well as a potential $2 billion dollars in Sandy Recovery funds).
