In an in-depth study, the Living Building Challenge Collaborative NY+NJ has researched the landscape of water issues in NYC as seen through the lens of LBC’s Net Positive Water imperative. 

Please join us as the Collaborative shares their findings from their forthcoming report. Rollie Jones and Jennifer Preston will discuss the feasibility and challenges of producing net positive water buildings including a gap analysis of existing codes and potential solutions which would facilitate meeting this goal.

Mr. Jones’ technical expertise is in building sciences, materials analysis, energy efficiency and indoor air quality. He is an Ambassador for International Living Future Institute and founding member of the Living Building Challenge Collaborative of NY and NJ.

Jennifer Preston
Sustainable Design Director, BKSK Architects

Ms. Preston implements imaginative and practical resilient building ecologies. She combines design, research, rating system protocols, building science, and simulation modeling to achieve future-looking solutions. She serves on the Steering Committee for the AIANY Committee on the Environment (COTE) and is a co-founder of the NYC+NJ Living Collaborative.
