Home to 26 bird species, five bat species and thousands of honeybees, the Javits Center green roof has become a sanctuary for wildlife, all while helping to reduce energy consumption throughout the convention center on Manhattan’s West Side.
Join us for a members-only tour of the second largest green roof in the United States, led by the project architect on the Javits Center renovation. This tour will share an in-depth look at this massive project and how it has contributed to a 26 percent reduction in the facility's annual energy consumption.
