How do you feed growing populations when space and resources for farming are shrinking? In response to methods of food production that threaten to exhaust global natural resources, innovators across the country are coming up with imaginative alternatives to make better use of land and hold a brighter promise for our future. Explore some of these more sustainable options at a screening of the documentary America’s Shrinking Farms with our Emerging Professionals.
Following the screening, Howard Brin, a vertical farming research expert, will lead a discussion and answer questions. Refreshments will be provided.
