Immediately following our 8th Annual Career Fair, we'll be holding a panel discussion on material transparency across the supply chain, from raw materials, through design, to the finished product. Our expert speakers will also touch on anticipated trends and how Emerging Professionals can drive material transparency in their own careers.

Sustainability Project Manager, MechoSystems
Ms. Berman leads MechoSystems' environmental initiatives by increasing third-party product certifications and streamlining internal operations. Prior to this, she worked as a sustainability consultant and earned a Masters Degree from the New School in Environmental Policy and Sustainability Management.
Christy Everett
Founder, respondé
Ms. Everett developed her knowledge of quality materials, fine craftsmanship and conservation during her study of architectural preservation. She served seven years in the furniture industry, including her role as corporate account manager at TUUCI, before pursuing her passion for quality furniture and sustainability by founding respondé.
Susan Kaplan
Director of Specifications and Sustainability, HLW International
In her role as specifier, Susan Kaplan continually evaluates product quality and green claims. She is responsible for maintaining rigorous specification standards for both the architectural and engineering components at HLW. Susan also serves as a Director and Environmental Chairperson for the New York Metropolitan Chapter of the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI).
Brooks Perlin
Chief Financial Officer and head of Architectural Sales , Eco Supply Center
Eco Supply Center distributes environmentally friendly materials ideally suited for high performing or passive home building standards. Prior to joining Eco Supply, Mr. Brooks was a partner at Keel Capital, investing in alternative energy companies and sustainable business models.
Client Development Associate, Schneider Electric
Mr. Millison has 4 years of experience working in third-party certification, including the certification of environmentally-preferable products and services at Green Seal. He is a part-time graduate student at Columbia University's Sustainability Management program and an active member of the Emerging Professionals (EP) Programs Committee.
