Did you know that over 90 percent of the construction and demolition (C&D) stream is recyclable? Recycling Certification can provide building owners, architects and builders with confidence that C&D from their job site is being recycled correctly.
Back by popular demand, join Urban Green for a tour of Cooper Recycling’s state-of the-art and much-expanded facility in Brooklyn, where you will get a firsthand look at the recycling process and learn about Certification, recycling outlets and new processing.
An accompanying presentation, led by Cooper Recycling Vice President Naomi Cooper, will begin at 4:30pm. You will be assigned to one of two tours, the early tour (4-4:30pm) or the late tour (5:15-5:45). If you have a preference between the two, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Proper dress is required for this tour: participants should wear sneakers or boots to this event. Casual dress is encouraged. Saftey gear will be provided.
For more information about this tour and the Recycling Certification Institute, please see our recap of the previous tour here.
