WHAT IS LEED?
Do you have specific questions about LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Credentialing or LEED Building Certification? The Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI) is responsible for managing all LEED building certification and professional credentialing. The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) develops the LEED Green Building Rating Systems.
While Urban Green does not offer LEED Credentialing or Certification, we promote the LEED rating system to support green building. LEED is a voluntary, consensus-based standard to support and certify successful green building design, construction and operations. It provides a common framework, guidelines and certification system to promote integrated, whole-building design practices.
We are currently offering a LEED Green Associate Preparation Workshop this fall. To sign up or learn more, check out the course registration page.
