Join us for a case study of Battery Park City Parks Conservancy's new high performance maintenance facility, exploring the integrated design, construction and operation the facility's heating, cooling and ventilating systems. This facility is the only project Battery Park City will build for its own use and was designed to serve as an example of sustainable design integration. Intersections: The Grand Concourse Beyond 100
The final segment of a three-part exhibition, Intersections: The Grand Concourse Beyond 100 features the finalists of the international design competition co-organized and presented by The Bronx Museum of the Arts and Design Trust for Public Space. This competition solicited bold visions for how the Bronx and the Grand Concourse can evolve in the next few decades and cope with pressing needs for housing, green spaces, and transportation. Seven compelling visions for the future of the Grand Concourse edged out nearly 200 other proposals. At Bronx Museum of the Arts through January 3.
