Tonight at Knoll: The Changing NYC Streetscape

 NYC streetscape

Join us tonight at the Knoll Showroom to learn about the recently released New York City Street Design Manual. The broad scope of this important document has the potential to transform one of the most visible, important and yet undervalued aspects of New York City: the public streetscape. The manual applies contemporary, progressive design to the public realm while balancing transportation, community and environmental needs. Presented by Margaret Newman, Chief of Staff to NYC Transportation Commissioner Janette Sadik-Khan. Tickets available here.

How do the performance characteristics of these options compare? The inclusion of thought leaders from both sides promises a lively debate. Cocktails 6:00pm, Discussion 6:30pm, Q&A 7:30pm. Details here.
