EXPO: Early Bird Pricing Ends Monday

Take advantage of early bird pricing for full pass tickets by Monday, September 1st and earn up to ten AIA credits from your choice of over 30 educational sessions. Each session is worth 1.0 HSW/SD AIA Continuing Education Credit (AIA credits may also be used by NY State Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors). LEED maintenance credits (GBCI CE Hours) will be announced soon.

Department of Buildings Commissioner Robert LiMandri to be Expo Master Speaker

At this year's Expo, Robert D. LiMandri will discuss the Department of Building’s role in the implementation of Mayor Bloomberg’s PLANYC initiatives and their continued focus on sustainability within the building industry. See other master speakers.

Are High Performance Buildings Really Performing: A Discussion with Drury B. Crawley
Sept 8th at Con Edison

Join ASHRAE New York for a provocative discussion of High Performance Buildings. Recent studies have shown that a significant number of sustainable, high performance buildings are not performing as well as anticipated. What went wrong between the design and actual performance? How can designers create and owners maintain better performing buildings? Drury B. Crawley, PhD and head of DOE’s Net Zero Commercial Building Initiative, will address these questions and more.
