High Performance Green Building Salon: Daylighting Design in Existing Buildings June 11th at the Knoll Showroom
Daylighting for Existing Buildings is, ironically, an exercise in designing from the inside out. Siting, solar orientation, and adjacent structures are established. Fenestration and other building exterior characteristics are changeable, but with significant expense. Wayne Trusty Discusses Life Cycle Assessment June 23rd at Trespa
Please join us for this rare opportunity to hear Wayne Trusty, pioneer in the field of life cycle assessment, speak in New York City. Trusty is President of the Athena Sustainable Materials Institute and its U.S. affiliate, Athena Institute International, and an Adjunct Associate Professor on the University of Calgary’s Faculty of Environmental Design. He will provide an introduction into Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), which is a methodology for assessing the environmental performance associated with a product or process over its full life cycle.
