Greener, Greater Buildings Plan Symposium May 7th at Alexander Hamilton U.S. Custom House Rohit Aggarwala, Director of the Mayor’s Office of Long Term Planning and Sustainability, will present details of the “Greener, Greater Buildings Plan,” recently announced by Mayor Bloomberg and City Council Speaker Quinn. His presentation will be followed by a panel discussion of the proposals benefits and the means for their implementation. If passed, the proposed legislation will establish New York City as a world leader in the fight to reduce the environmental impact of urban communities. It also would stimulate the local economy and create jobs. Complete details of the Greater Greener Buildings Plan can be found on the PlaNYC website. Call for Proposals for Urban Green Expo Education Seminars On September 22nd and 23rd, 2009 USGBC New York launches the northeast’s premier green building educational conference and trade expo: Urban Green Expo 2009.
