General Description: US Energy Group, Inc. is growing and needs to expand its sales team to develop the commercial property market area in the greater New York City metro area.  The successful Account Executive will be an individual with deep experience selling into the commercial building marketplace.    (An ideal background would be an individual with at least five years experience selling related energy conservation products (boiler,
utilities, building supplies) and services to building owners, property managers and real estate portfolio managers.)

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities include:

  • Fully understanding our products, preparing sales presentations, speaking at conferences, and representing US Energy Group, Inc. at selected events
  • Communicating to potential customers our product's capabilities, its advantages, features over the competition, benefits, and installation
    process
  • Planning client meetings, delivering a compelling value proposition, executing timely follow-up
  • Providing feedback for collateral development our marketing department
  • Developing leads and managing the lead/sales pipeline system (Sugar.com)
  • Reporting on progress to your sales quota plan
  • Basic understanding of building information management systems (heat, hot water, wireless sensors, fuel management, etc.)

Qualifications:

  • Five-years experience in selling products and services into the commercial building market place
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office software tools (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)
  • Team focused, excellent in communications (written and verbal)
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
