Battery Park City Authority A New York State Public benefit corporation whose green building provisions mandate state of the art environmental specifications to maximize energy efficiency and minimize water usage.

greeNYC is a part of New York City's plaNYC 2030 initiative. PlanNYC focuses on the five key dimensions of the city’s environment – land, air, water, energy, and transportation. The combined impact of this plan will contribute to a 30% reduction in global warming emissions. GreeNYC is a way for New Yorkers to get involved in reducing their own carbon emissions.

NYC DDC The New York City Department of Design and Construction prioritizes the identification and implementation of cost-effective ways to promote greater environmental responsibility in building design.

NYC Office of Environmental Coordination The NYC OEC assists City agencies in carrying out their environmental review responsibilities, serves as the City’s liaison to state and federal agencies on environmental matters, and advises the Mayor on matters of environmental policy. OEC is responsible for the implementation of the City’s Green Building Standards Law, Local Law 86 of 2005.

NYS Energy Research and Development Authority NYSERDA’s programs help homeowners and renters reduce their energy costs, help multifamily building owners provide energy-efficient apartments for their tenants, and provide training to contractors on how to provide quality energy efficiency services to their neighbors.
