Volunteer

Urban Green Council depends on the support and expertise of volunteers who contribute towards our development and operations.  Over the years, many of our volunteers have become acknowledged leaders in the green building community. We periodically solicit the expertise of our volunteers for the development of our educational programs and other major policy initiatives. Volunteer opportunities include the following:

Event Photographers

We are seeking a committed group of photographers to record our various educational programs and networking events.

Registration

There is always a need for individuals to help out with the logistics of holding programs and events, including guest registration and ushering.

Videographer

We would like to find committed, experienced videographers to film our more important educational events and panels for posting on our Website.

Emerging Green Builders

The Emerging Green Builders (EGB) committee consists of students and young professionals within five years of graduation who are dedicated to becoming and recruiting the future leaders of the green building movement. EGB runs the following programs: Natural Talent Design Competition, Project Earth Day Eco-Fashion Show, LEED Crash Course, and Semi-Annual Career Fair. To learn more visit the EGB Webpage.
