In September Urban Green Council will launch Urban Green Expo, an annual green building conference and trade expo. Designed to meet the unique needs of the densely developed urban environment at a challenging economic moment, Urban Green Expo will showcase a wide variety of vetted green product manufacturers and service providers along with two-days of top-tier educational sessions.
In addition to traditional vendor booths, the Urban Green Expo floor will feature a farmer’s market - a real-life model of sustainability in action as well as an aisle dedicated to Green Garage Inventors poised to bring new innovations to the marketplace.

Rest assured, we are still the New York chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council! We’ll continue to offer the high quality educational events and programs, provide useful resources, and advocate for a sustainable city. So what’s with the new name and new look?
This is an incredibly exciting time for the sustainable building community. From government to energy, transportation to financing, the world in which buildings and neighborhoods are designed, built, operated and occupied is shifting radically. We wanted our messaging to reflect this incredible change happening in the urban green landscape.
