Green Building Tours

Urban Green organizes frequent tours of high performance buildings, parks, and urban landscapes in New York and surrounding areas. 

Each tour includes knowledgeable members of the project team to answer questions and provide insight into the design, construction, and planning involved with these innovative structures.  Tours are a a valuable opportunity to learn about what sustainable building techniques are being put into practice here in New York, as well as to meet others in the green building community.

Past tours include the Green Roofs of Battery Park City, where experts introduced the thriving green roofs of the Riverhouse and the Verdesian while taking in view of the surrounding lush rooftops of the Tribeca Green and the Solaire; and Henry Miller's Theater.
