Urban Green Council works to provides programming for everyone in the green building community. Whether you are an industry professional new to green building, just working on a green project, pursuing LEED credentials or continuing education credits, or if you simply want to stay informed, our educational events connect you to the most knowledgeable and experienced people New York's green building community, and experts in a variety of sustainable fields from around the country.
1st Wednesdays
Join these intimate, monthly round-table discussions, where green building practitioners share their experiences.

Oppositions
Beginning quarterly in 2009, Oppositions will assemble key thinkers from around the country to focus on cutting-edge and controversial green design topics. Following each program, USGBC New York will prepare a white paper for its members on the issues covered.
LEED Technical Reviews (Workshops)
Bimonthly LEED technical reviews (workshops) teach the basics of sustainable design, provide an in-depth review of LEED, and prepare individuals to take the exam to become a LEED Accredited Professional.
