Chris C. Garvin (full bio)

Chris Garvin is an accomplished practitioner and active voice in the sustainable design community. Since moving to New York in 1998, he has specialized in environmental architecture and materials research, while serving on numerous advisory boards and in organizations that advocate for sustainability in design. Chris serves as a project lead for many of Terrapin’s consulting engagements while also managing projects for Cook+Fox Architects, where he is a Senior Associate.

Douglas Hocking has more than 19 years of experience in all aspects of architectural design. Since joining Kohn Pedersen Fox in 1990, he has worked on a variety of building types including residential, commercial, government, transportation, and institutional projects across the United States and throughout Asia.
